"Modern man feels a radical need for mutation".
The rethinking of clothes and lifestyle implies a consequent change in the practices of living increasingly inspired by the principles of integration and sustainability that the progressive depletion of natural resources requires.
The decrease in consumption and economic hardships tend to generate less space and outline new anthropological models; able to re-orient the ways of acting, of living and of consuming, as well as those of staying.
Each thoughtful reduction to the minimum elements expresses an evaluation of human behavior, useful for identifying the essential features.
If the essential characteristic of being [human] is its localized physicality, living the world properly means to inhabit it, in space and time. It follows that any consideration of living is necessarily a reflection on the very meaning of existence and on the forms that characterize it:
the aesthetic and typological aspects of the forms reveal culture, values and habits.
The act of living arises as the foundation of the very essence of the human being, but it is also a social and cultural act, expresses the habitus of a community and the symbolic horizon of an era".
Identity, memory, resilience.
Identity: In relation to other objects, identity is everything that makes a definable and recognizable entity, because it possesses a set of qualities or characteristics that make it be what it is and, therefore, distinguish it from all others. entity.
Memory: Memory is the brain's ability to store information, or psychic or mental function aimed at assimilation, retention and recall, in the form of memory, of information learned during the experience or by sensory means.
Resilience: the ability to cope positively with traumatic events, to positively reorganize one's life in the face of difficulties, to rebuild oneself while remaining sensitive to positive opportunities.
A project for the conscious reuse of the post-mining landscape, for the practical and poetic activation of the ruins. It stems from the desire to work with heritage, regaining possession of the bequests of decommissioning and abandonment as opportunities, notes on which it is possible to rewrite new stories on time.
Since antiquity the ruin within the landscape has been a powerful device for soliciting memories and for evoking meanings.
In particular, the project wants to reclaim real buildings in a state of neglect, homes, bivouacs or shelters, to give it a new meaning without betraying its function.
The definition of the project stems from the desire to define primarily a process of intent and a succession of events that, coordinated and connected, can give life to a wider system of feedback.
The architecture of memory, the ruins, as well as reverse ruins, are there to reveal a state of expectation, a possibility of re-use and at the same time to preserve the identity of what it was.
First act, Mine* Rooms, will take place for a period of one year, and involves the construction of three micro-architectures in the ruins, small treasure chests for travelers and visitors, pearls crystallized among the rocks.

Architect and researcher, graduated with honors at Politecnico di Milano.
Carlalberto currently works between Urbino and Milan.
He is PhD candidate in Landscape Architecture at the University of Florence and teaching assistant in Architectural and Urban Design Studio II at the Politecnico di Milano since 2016
He has been invited as critic to several workshops and conferences, in 2017 he has been visiting lecturer at Faculty of Architecture and Design in Ferrara and at Politecnico di Milano.
He worked in Milan for Giancarlo De Carlo architetti and Francesco Librizzi studio, and in Olot, Spain for RCR Arquitectes.
